Install the ACS Rosters program
Please note: If you are having problems with "Get Roster from ADHE". Windows XP SP2 installs a software firewall that, by default, will block the roster transfer. You must open ports 20 and 21 on the roster workstation. ADHE cannot do this, you need to contact your campus Computing Services department.
ACS Rosters Patch - This patch is necessary
A patch has been released (July 20, 2004) that allows the renamed roster files to be transferred through firewalls that are blocking zip files. All roster files have been renamed to the form ACS_<schl>_#.adhe. Note the file extension has been changed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I'm having a problem after I install the Rosters program and download a new roster, it doesn't display any students.
A: You must uninstall the old software before installing the new 2001-2002 version. Close Rosters and uninstall through the Control Panel. Then reinstall from this web page.
Q: After downloading the rosters from ADHE when I try to Load it, the program gives an error that the file is encrypted.
A: The compressed file on ADHE's server is an encrypted zip file. The password needs to be set. Select Change Password from the File menu. Enter the password from last years rosters. If you have forgotten or are new to this position, call Elyse Price (501 371-2054) or email Paul Nations.
Q: Will the ACS Roster Program run on Windows 98? Windows 2000?
A: Since the initial release we have tested the program under
Windows 9x / Windows NT (SP3) / Windows 2000 and it works fine. It has not been tested on Windows ME, but we anticipate no problems. It also has not been tested on Windows XP, we don't know what to anticipate.
Q: I have problems getting my roster from ADHE or sending it back. What can I do?
A: This is frequently caused by a slow or broken internet connection between your institution and ADHE. Verify the status of your internet connection with your on campus support personnel before calling ADHE.
