The Board consists of 12 members who are appointed by the governor and serve staggered six-year terms. Board Policies, as adopted by the coordinating board, are available. Please contact the governor's office if you would like to be considered for a position on this board.

Dr. Charles Allen of Little Rock was appointed to the Coordinating Board in 2007 and is serving a term that will expire in 2013. Dr. Allen serves as a business and industry representative and is the chief administrative officer for the Correction’s School System of Arkansas. Dr. Allen has 40 years of experience as an educator and has served as superintendent for three Arkansas School districts, a county school supervisor, a high school principal, and an educational supervisor with the Arkansas Department of Education.

Kaneaster Hodges, Jr. of Newport was appointed to the Coordinating Board in 2002 and is currently serving his second term that will expire in 2014. Mr. Hodges previously served as a Board of Trustee member of the University of Arkansas and graduated from Princeton University. Mr. Hodges received his law degree from the University of Arkansas and practices in Newport. He also served as a U.S. Senator. Mr. Hodges served as Chair of the Coordinating Board from July 2005 to July 2007.

Ms. Sarah Argue of Little Rock was appointed to the Coordinating Board in 2009 and is serving a term that will expire in 2015. A graduate of Wellesley College in Massachusetts and the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service, Ms. Argue spent three years teaching fourth-and fifth-graders in inner-city Boston.
Dr. Joe Bennett

Dr. Joe Bennett of Harrison was appointed to the Coordinating Board in 2007 and is serving a term that will expire in 2013. Dr. Bennett serves as a business and industry representative and is a retired medical doctor who operated a private radiology practice at Boone County Medical Center. He also served as the hospital’s chief of staff and on the Advisory Commission to the Arkansas Board of Higher Education from 1972-75. He was chairman of the North Arkansas Community College Board of Trustees from 1992-2000.
Dr. Olin Cook

Dr. Olin Cook of Russellville was appointed to the Coordinating Board in May 2008 and is serving a term that will expire in 2014. A retired educator, Dr. Cook has served as the Executive Vice President and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Arkansas Tech University and for 10 years as the Director for the Department of Higher Education. He has served on several boards, including the River Valley Shelter for Battered Women and Children. Dr. Cook has also served as the Chair of the House Education Committee and is a former State Representative.
Mr. Bob Crafton

Bob H Crafton of Rogers was appointed to the Coordinating Board in 2009, and is currently serving his second term which will expire in 2017. He graduated from Arkansas Tech with an Associate of Science Degree and the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. He previously served on the planning committee that brought the Northwest Arkansas Community College to a successful vote and served twelve years on the NWACC Board of Trustees, two years as chairman. He served 10 years on the Rogers Board of Education, two years as chairman. He is a retired Consulting Engineer having co-founded Crafton Tull and Associates, a firm that now has over 300 employees with offices in several states.
Mr. Horace Hardwick

Horace Hardwick of Bentonville was appointed to the Coordinating Board in 2011, and he is currently serving his first term, which will expire in 2016. Mr. Hardwick graduated from Southwestern University in Waxahachie, Texas, and retired as Director of International Sales and Marketing for G.E. Lighting in Mexico. He served on the Northwest Arkansas Community College Board of Trustees and as a former State Representative.
Mrs. Sherrel Johnson

Mrs. Sherrel Johnson of El Dorado was appointed to the board in 2012 and is serving a term that will expire in 2018. She is a special projects coordinator for the Union County Water Conservation Board. She is the former director of speaker programs at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service and interim vice chancellor for university advancement at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Johnson served on the South Arkansas Community College board of trustees from 2007-2012.
Dr. Tim Langford

Dr. Tim Langford of Little Rock was appointed to the Coordinating Board in 2012 and is currently serving his first term, which will expire in May 2017. Dr. Tim Langford has been with Arkansas Urology since 1993. Prior to joining Arkansas Urology, he served as chief urology resident at UAMS. Langford received his medical degree from UAMS and graduated magna cum laude from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro with a bachelor’s degree in zoology. Langford played quarterback for the Indians from 1980-83 under former head coach Larry Lacewell.
Mrs. Florine Milligan

Florine Milligan of Forrest City was appointed to the Coordinating Board in 2011 and is currently serving her first term, which will expire in 2016. Mrs. Milligan is retired from the Forrest City School District and is past president of the St. Francis County Area Chamber of Commerce and vice-chair of the Arkansas State Workforce Investment Board. She earned her BS in Chemistry and Math from Lane College in Jackson, Tenn., and MS in Education Arkansas State University at Jonesboro. She is a former chairperson of the Arkansas State University board of trustees.

Greg Revels of DeQueen was appointed to the Coordinating Board in 2013 and is currently serving his first term, which will expire in 2018. Mr. Revels previously served on the Cossatot Community College of the U of A Foundation Board and graduated from Ouachita Baptist University. Mr. Revels is a Certified Public Accountant and the owner of Revels and Company CPA in DeQueen.
Mrs. Mary Anne Salmon

Former Senator Mary Anne Salmon of North Little Rock was appointed to the Coordinating Board in 2013, and is currently serving her first term, which will expire in 2015. Senator Salmon graduated from Arkansas Tech University, is a former business owner and a retired music teacher from the Pulaski County Special School District. A former chairman of the Arkansas Tech University Board of Trustees, she presently serves on the Arkansas Tech Foundation Board as well as the Pulaski Technical College Foundation Board. Additionally, she has been a member of the North Little Rock, Maumelle and Sherwood chambers of commerce.
