Arkansas Mathematics Co-Requisite Workshop: Refining and Scaling Implementation

The Charles A. Dana Center invites you to participate in the Arkansas Mathematics Co-Requisite Workshop: Refining and Scaling Implementation. Through this region-level interactive workshop, institutional teams will share successes and challenges from their mathematics co-requisite implementation and explore strategies for refining and scaling up offerings to serve at least 75% of all developmental students.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Each institution should consider bringing a team of 3-5 people including:
• Mathematics chairs and faculty members who teach introductory statistics, quantitative literacy, and/or algebraic courses (College Algebra, Precalculus, etc.) as well as precollege mathematics.

DATE: November 1, 2019 (Northern Region Institutions) 

TIME: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Registration begins at 9:15am

LOCATION:  University of Arkansas Community College-Morrilton, Workforce Development Center.
Travel reimbursement for mileage for up to 2 vehicles per college (forms to be provided at the event).
