US Department of Education Privacy Technical Assistance Center FERPA and Data Security Training
When: March 13, 2018 | 9:00 a.m.
Location: ADHE First Floor BoardroomDetails:
On March 13, 2018, ADHE will be hosting the US Department of Education Privacy Technical Assistance Center for training on topics of FERPA and Data Security. This training is provided FREE for all institutions who wish to attend. Due to limited seating each institution is invited to have a maximum of three (3) people attend the training. Although it is at the institution's discretion who should attend, it is highly recommended that the institution's FERPA Compliance Officer attend the training. Others who would benefit from attendance include Registrars, Institutional Research, CAOs, Directors of Financial Aid, Directors of Admissions, and Directors of Information Services. Each participant of the training must register using the link provided below no later than February 28, 2018. In addition to those attending the training on-site, each institution will have the option of accessing the meeting remotely to allow more faculty and staff to receive this training. Only one remote access session may be used per institution. This will be a one-way session with those accessing remotely able to listen and watch but not participate. You will find a separate registration for the remote access session in a link provided below. In order to keep this meeting free for all attendees, lunch will not be provided. A sufficient lunch break will be taken to allow attendees to go to lunch at one of the many eating establishments close to ADHE. A detailed agenda can be found at: Agenda.
